Applications

Indexing elements: Change from oscillating to intermittent rotary motion.
Backstops: Prevent self-reversing due to load condition when the machine is not activated.
Overrunning clutches: Maintain driven unit activated during slowdown, or switch to higher speed in two-speed operation.
